“Do you believe in monsters?
Because you should.”
In this subversive reimagining of Greek mythology and legend, the tale of the titular monster comes from the mouth of the beast himself. In the wake of his defeat by Theseus, The Minotaur arrives in Tartarus bloodstained and vengeful. Determined to damn the world in his wake, The Minotaur recounts the story of his life to the chorus of other half living souls around him, slowly reconstructing his infamous Labyrinth within the depth of his new dungeon. Holding up a mirror to his tormentors, taking the figures of both family and gods alike, The Minotaur begs the listeners to decide if a monster is born or created.
